The TripSit plugin was written a long time ago when it was the only data source.

An analogy would be DarkSky plugin vs NuWeather it would be much better to use data sources as pluggable backends especially with the talk of utilizing Noah’s merge-psy-tripsit script and/or building a different Knowledge Base.

There are several features lacking in the original, which shall be elaborated upon in issues.

What shall this plugin do does it combine the commands for psychonautwiki and tripsit api lookups or does it just log doses and doesnt handle information lookups?

Current implementations of TripSit and PsychonautWiki

Note: This is intended to be only a DoseLogger and not for substance or nootropics lookups. It may possibly have an optional linking ability based on a config var to another <Plugin.link> which handles information and can impact the template of the response.

Note: If at all any expansion in it’s abilities is being considered it should probably be in towards being a comprehensive “Logger for Consumables”, quite possibly beyond just snacks (subst), food and drink; say AA batteries)

Ignore these data sources as they have flaws and misinformation which they don’t seem to care to repair. This is simply a logger
