Add a second netconfig-commit backend which, if enabled, doesn't
directly send any of the network configuration to the kernel or system
files but delegates the operation to an interested client's D-Bus
method as described in doc/agent-api.txt. This backend is switched to
when a client registers a netconfig agent object and is swiched away
from when the client disconnects or unregisters the agent. Only one
netconfig agent can be registered any given time.
Expose the state directory/storage directory path on D-Bus because it
can't be known to clients until IWD runs, and client might need to
occasionally fiddle with the network config files. While there also
expose the IWD version string, similar to how some other D-Bus services
do.
Arrays of dictionaries are quite common, and for basic
types this API makes things much more convenient by
putting all the enter/append/leave calls in one place.
If anyone's registered as implementing the WFD service, add the
net.connman.iwd.p2p.Display DBus interface on peer objects that are
WFD-capable and are available for a WFD Session.
The net.connman.iwd.p2p.ServiceManager interface on the /net/connman/iwd
object lets user applications register/unregister the Wi-Fi Display
service. In this commit all it does is it adds local WFD information
as given by the app, to the frames we send out during discovery.
Instead of accepting raw WFD IE contents from the app and exposing
peers' raw WFD IEs to the app, we build the WFD IEs in our code based on
the few meaningful DBus properties that we support and using default
values for the rest. If an app ever needs any of the other WFD
capabilities more properties can be added.
Add ObjectManager objects with properties for each Known Network so that
signals are emitted for creation or removal of a Known Network and a
Property Changed is emitted on LastConnectedTime change. Remove the
ListKnownNetworks method from the old KnownNetworks interface.
Note this breaks clients that used the known networks interface.
Allow registering and unregistering agent object to receive RSSI level
notifications. The methods are similar to the ones related to the
password agent, including a Release method for the agent.
Change the path for net.connman.iwd.Device objects to /phyX/Y and
register net.connman.iwd.Adapter at /phyX grouping devices of the same
wiphy.
Turns out no changes to the test/* scripts are needed.
knownnetworks.c/.h implements the KnownNetworks interface and loads the
known networks from storage on startup. The list of all the networks
including information on whether a network is known is managed in
network.c to avoid having two separate lists of network_info structures
and keeping them in sync. That turns out to be difficult because the
network.c list is sorted by connected_time and connected_time changes
can be triggered in both network.c or knownnetworks.c. Both can also
trigger a network_info to be removed completely.
It seems until now dbus.c would always connect to dbus-1 (unless
DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS pointed at kdbus) and passing -K only made
iwd create a kdbus bus and not use it. Now use ell to actually use
kdbus instead of dbus-1 with -K. Don't use the src/kdbus.c functions
that duplicate ell functionality. As a side effect the connection
description and the bloom sizes are now the ell defaults.
